In Sardinia, Alessandra de Osma dazzled in a Muzungu Sisters creation. On Tuesday, August 20, the fashionable royal posted pictures of herself wearing the “Berry Snail” printed Lola dress from the apparel line, looking lovely in pink. The organic cotton dress has a tiered ruffle skirt, generous sleeves, and ruffles around the throat.
The outfit is available online from Muzungu Sisters in a variety of designs. Muzungu Sisters, an ethical and slow fashion business founded by Tatiana Casiraghi and Dana Alikhani, promotes and honors artisan communities around the globe. Alessandra works in the fashion industry, just like Tatiana. She and Moira Laporta established MOI&SASS in 2018, a company that sells “timeless designs made from sustainable leather.”
Beyond their mutual love of fashion, Tatiana and Alessandra are connected personally by their respective husbands, Prince Christian of Hanover and Andrea Casiraghi, the nephew of Prince Albert of Monaco, who are stepbrothers. In 1999, Christian’s father, Prince Ernst August of Hannover, wed Andrea’s mother, Princess Caroline. It has been reported that the pair split up in 2009.
In 2017, Tatiana and Andrea attended the civil wedding in London when Alessandra and Prince Christian were married. The next year, the pair married in a religious ceremony in Peru. She has three children with Christian. Their third kid, Alexia, was born earlier this year, and they welcomed twins Nicolas and Sofia in 2020. In early March, Alessandra posted the following on Instagram (translated to English) to formally introduce her family’s newest member: “Alexia, welcome to the world 🤍 You arrived three weeks ago to complete our family. We will always love you 💫.
