Since her divorce with Tristan Thompson, the father of her two children, in 2021, celebrity TV actress Khloe Kardashian has embraced being single and focused on raising her two-year-old boy Tatum and six-year-old daughter True. As a busy mother of two, she has now acknowledged that any new man entering her life will need to be “really worth it” in order to justify spending time with her.
“Well, I think once you go a certain time frame, it doesn’t matter anymore,” she told Us Weekly.
“You think, ‘Well, you must be truly valuable to break that.'” I know this seems weird, but I’m also totally devoted to my children, and I don’t want anyone to take me away from them. Although I wouldn’t allow it to occur, I’m not sure whether I want the diversion at the moment.
“I have young children, so I’m not saying I’ll wait until they’re twenty, but I think you’ll have to be really, really special for me to want to add someone else to my life, and I’d have to share my time with them and my kids.”
Khloe’s previous marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom lasted from 2009 until their divorce was completed in 2026. She began seeing Tristan the year her marriage ended, but they broke up four years ago, and she hasn’t been in a serious relationship since.
As they raise their children together, she and Tristan have remained friends. She recently acknowledged that her daughter True believes her parents are married, despite the fact that they aren’t even dating.
“True thinks me and Tristan are married,” she said to her friend Malika Haqq during an episode of “The Kardashians.” “I believe that getting married and starting a family is the appropriate thing to do. The only thing about that that irritates me is that I don’t want True to live her life believing that this is what marriage is all about.”
